Tamara Pradegan, trenerica i majstorica (Grand Master) taekwondoa, nositeljica 7. DANA majstorskog pojasa kao jedina Europljanka s najvišim zvanjem, u petak, 19. kolovoza 2022. na svečanosti u New Jerseyu u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama, primljena je u svjetsku Kuću slavnih taekwondoa!
 
Pradegan bila je vrhunska natjecateljica, a više od 30 godina vodi jedan od najuspješnijih hrvatskih taekwondo kluba TKD Jastreb Zagreb u kojem su stasali brojni reprezentativci i osvajači medalja s najvećih natjecanja, te danas u zapadnom dijelu Zagreba okuplja 400 djece. 
 
S TKD Jastrebom ima 24 titule ekipnih prvaka Hrvatske u svim dobnim kategorijama, bili su i ekipni doprvaci Europe, a gđa. Pradegan više od 20 godina organizira tradicionalni međunarodni Jastreb Open, najveći taekwondo turnir za mlade u ovom dijelu Europe. Vrijednost turnira prepoznala je i Republika Koreja kao domovina taekwondoa, pa se turnir održava pod pokroviteljstvom Veleposlanstva Južne Koreje i pod nazivom Kup Veleposlanika Republike Koreje. Tamara Pradegan s TKD Jastrebom organizira redovite brojne humanitarne akcije, te ljetne i zimske kampove za mlade i edukacije, za što je primila brojne domaće i  nagrade iz inozemstva. 
 
Prijem u Kuću slavnih (Taekwondo Hall of Fame) u New Jerseyu svakako je zasluženo najveće priznanje Tamari Pradegan za sve što je pružila taekwondou i podizanju statusa tog olimpijskog sporta u Hrvatskoj, Europi i svijetu.
 
... I TOMISLAV HORVAT PRIMLJEN U TAEKWONDO HALL OF FAME
 
 Tomislav Horvat je 19. kolovoza 2022. primljen u Taekwondo kuću slavnih na ceremoniji koja se održala u New Jerseyu u kategoriji za životno djelo. 
 
Horvat je aktivan u taekwondou 51 godinu, nosilac je crnog pojasa 8. Dan, bivši  natjecatelj, državni prvak i reprezentativac, višegodišnji izbornik muške seniorske reprezentacije, dugogodišnji predsjednik Zagrebačkog taekwondo saveza te aktivni predsjednik Taekwondo kluba Osvit.

ABOUT MASTER TOMISLAV HORVAT:
 
Master Tomislav Horvat was born on 6 January 1955 in Zagreb. He graduated from Music Academy and Teacher Training College in Zagreb. After having graduated at the Sports Academy in Zagreb, he became a taekwondo trainer. Since 1994, and has been a headmaster of Josip Račić primary school in Zagreb.   
 
His training taekwondo training started back in 1971 and in 2003, he was awarded  7th. Dan. On 23 January 2020, he received 8th Dan from World Taekwondo Europe.   
 
During his competitive years, he was a national champion multiple times, as well as a National Team member. He was also a member of the first National WTF team against the Netherlands in Zagreb in 1980.   
 
From 1986 to 1995 he was a national senior team selector, winning 20 medals on European and World level, including European championship in Zagreb in 1994, where his student Dragan Jurilj won a gold medal.   
 
He founded several Taekwondo clubs both in Croatia and abroad. In 1977 he founded one of the oldest and most prolific clubs in Croatia, the Osvit club from Zagreb, where he remains the president. The athletes of Osvit have achieved numerous top results, to mention a few: three bronze medals at World championships, two gold, two silver and six bronze medals at European championships, as well as one bronze at Women Team European championship in 2017. Many club members have been national representatives in categories of all ages.  
 
Today, the club is active in nine sports halls with about 300 members, winning over 400 trophies and plaques for the results achieved.  Among numerous national and international diplomas and certificates his most memorable are the bronze badge ETU 1995, the gold medal WTE 2018 and the silver medal of honour of the Croatian Taekwondo Federation.    
 
Since 1980 he has been either an independent examiner in national and international clubs or a member of belt examination commission. He has been conducting examinations for the Croatian Taekwondo Federation since the independence of Croatia.   
 
From 2011 to 2020 he served as president of the Zagreb Taekwondo Federation and from 2018 to 2020 also a member of the Managing board of the Croatian Taekwondo Federation.  Since 2017 he has been a member of the Managing Board of the Sports Federation in the City of Zagreb.   
 
He is also editor of the book "History of Croatian Taekwondo", Nikola Pečko (September 2021).
