AND THE BEST CROATIANS ARE....

Croatia just finished 66. Journalists Voting organised by Daily paper SN for the best Croatian athletes, with live TV coverage on the National TV.

Here are the results:

There were 365 journalists, from 62 redactions, voted for:

WOMEN TEAM:

1. Croatian crosbow national team

2. Handball club Lokomotiva, Zagreb

3. Table tennis paraolympic pair A. Muzinic & H. Dretar-Karic

MEN TEAM:

1. Waterpolo National Team

2. Croatian Footbal Club Rijeka

3. Sinkovic brothers, rowing

WOMEN

1. Sandra Perkovic, athletics (discus)

2. Snjezana Pejcic, shooter

3. Mikela Ristoski, paraolympic athlet (long jump)

MEN

1. Tin Srbic, gymnastics

There were some special Prices:

1. for swimming 3 Big swimm marathons in only 90 days (Manhattan bridges, Catalina-San Pedro, and La Manche): Dina Levacic (second woman in the history of swimming to make it!)

2. for organizing and sponsoring one week on the Adriatic Coast, in Split, for 30 poor child from the town of Vukovar: Andjelo Setka, waterpolo player, player of Waterpolo National Team, 2017. world champions

3. for the Fair play, for instructed his player to score the selfgoal, after judge in the amateur league made a crutial mistake, and confirmed a goal for his team, even it wasn't: Darijo Luic, trainer in Ivanja Reka Football Club.
