Tomorrow (Sunday, June 12), under the night sky of the Khalifa International Stadium, the fourth edition of the AIPS Sport Media Awards will reach its climax with a spectacular ceremony to crown the world’s best sports storytellers.

Valentina Clemente, a multilingual Italian journalist working for Sky TG24, will host the AIPS Sport Media Awards ceremony tomorrow night.

The programme for the day includes the prelude scheduled for 7pm Doha time to set the tone for the much-anticipated ceremony gala starting at 7:30pm Doha time.

On Sunday June 12, attendees and viewers of the Awards ceremony will be treated to an unforgettable night as the spotlight shines on incredible pieces of sports journalism and those who produced them.

The fourth edition of the AIPS Sport Media Awards received a total of 1732 submissions from 133 countries across all categories. The Top 3 finalists have been announced but they will only get to know their place on the podium at the ceremony - the 12-member AIPS Sport Media Awards Jury will decide the positions the day before.

The winners in the senior categories will receive USD 8.000 for first place, USD 3.000 for second place and USD 2.000 for third place. There will be only one winner in each of the three Young Reporters categories. The winning trio will be rewarded with a scholarship to a major international sporting event.

There will be Special Awards too, including - A Life in Sport and Investigative Reporting.
