Do you know the country that changed its name and flag between the Opening and Closing ceremonies of an Olympics?
You will find the answer in our 100 Olympic Stories by 100 Young Reporters from 100 Nations in 100 Seconds project set to be launched as part of our online Centennial Celebration on July 2.
YOUNG REPORTERS Around 130 enthusiastic young reporters, all continents represented, took part in this cultural and educational initiative that has inspired them to dig through archives in search of the iconic athletes and moments that have shaped the Olympic history of their respective countries.
With interesting facts and figures, this platform offers unique insights and diverse experiences from each country, while underlining the Olympic spirit as a comon denominator.
This project has also been achieved with the support of the International Olympic Committee and Getty Images.
